Who is Preeti Lobana?
An experienced leader, Preeti Lobana has been associated with Google for over eight years, previously serving as Vice President of gTech – Process, Partner, Publisher Operations, Ads Content & Quality Operations. Her role involved heading a global team that supported advertising solutions and strengthened partnerships worldwide.
Before joining Google, she held senior leadership roles in renowned organizations:
- NatWest Group: Managing Director, Head of Global Finance Service India
- American Express: VP of Global Business Services
- Standard Chartered Bank: Head of Banking Services
- ANZ Grindlays Bank: Head of Personal Loans
Lobana, an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, brings expertise in business strategy, product management, and operational excellence to her new role.
Lobana’s Vision for Google India
In her new role, Lobana will focus on fostering innovation across diverse sectors while strengthening Google’s ties with India’s rapidly growing digital economy. She will also collaborate with Roma Datta Chobey, the Managing Director for Digital Native Industries, to scale innovations in emerging sectors like fintech, gaming, and e-commerce.
Sanjay Gupta, Google’s Asia-Pacific President, emphasized Lobana’s strategic vision, stating, “Her leadership will be instrumental in deepening Google’s engagement with India’s unique ecosystem.”
