In a strong rebuke, PM Modi highlighted Gandhi’s derogatory characterization of Uttar Pradesh’s youth as ‘nashedi’ (addicts), a term that sparked controversy. Modi criticized the Congress for its history of targeting him and now venting their frustrations on the people of Uttar Pradesh. He emphasized that those who have lost their senses are unjustly labeling the youth of Varanasi, his constituency, as addicts. This statement by PM Modi was in response to remarks made by Rahul Gandhi during his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which have since ignited a political firestorm.
