Romantic thriller author Rinka Chetri officially unveiled her debut novel His Destiny Her Love at Tribe Town Bistro in Guwahati on 1 February 2026. The launch event marked the beginning of her journey as a published novelist after years of nurturing her passion for storytelling.
Known for weaving together suspense, crime and emotional depth, Rinka Chetri’s writing often highlights complex human relationships while reflecting on social realities. Although she began writing at the age of fourteen, her breakthrough came with His Destiny Her Love, which earned recognition at the Wattpad India Awards 2019, organised in collaboration with Times Bridge.

Rinka Chetri was born to Shri Kumar Chetri and Smt. Malati Chetri and currently works as a full-time government professional. Despite her demanding career, she continues to pursue her love for reading and writing during her leisure hours. Originally from Kolkata, she draws inspiration from real-life experiences and the world around her.
