In a resolute declaration at a public meeting in Aurangabad, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured Prime Minister Narendra Modi of his unwavering allegiance to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating, “I will not leave the NDA and go here and there!” Kumar’s statement comes amidst speculation about political realignments, reinforcing his commitment to the alliance. He confidently predicted a triumphant victory for the NDA in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, aiming for more than 400 seats.
The public meeting, graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his 20-month visit to Bihar, saw Kumar expressing his gratitude towards the Centre’s developmental schemes. He highlighted the enthusiastic turnout at Modi’s rally, interpreting it as a positive sign for the NDA’s prospects in the state. The event also marked the inauguration of significant projects related to railways, road construction, and the Namami Gange initiative, showcasing the collaborative efforts of the state and central governments towards Bihar’s progress.
Addressing the challenges faced by Bihar before 2005, Kumar criticized the previous administrations for neglecting education and hindering the state’s development. He credited the alliance with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 2005 as a turning point for Bihar, leading to substantial advancements in various sectors. Kumar’s remarks also took a swipe at the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), suggesting that the opposition’s efforts would not deter the NDA’s mission.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s affirmation of loyalty to the NDA and his optimistic outlook for the Lok Sabha elections underscore his commitment to Bihar’s development and the strength of the alliance in navigating the state towards a brighter future.
