A report by CNBC TV18 highlights her illustrious career spanning Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. Making waves across regional boundaries, Nayanthara debuted in Bollywood with ‘Jawan’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan, earning Rs 10 crore for her role in this Atlee-directed venture, as per Times of India. Beyond her impressive earnings, Nayanthara boasts an estimated net worth of Rs 183 crore, securing her status as the wealthiest actress in South India.
Looking ahead, Nayanthara has two exciting projects lined up for release. ‘The Test’, a sports thriller featuring R Madhavan, Siddharth, and Meera Jasmine, directed by S. Sashikanth, is eagerly awaited for a Summer 2024 premiere. Additionally, she will be seen in ‘Mannangatti Since 1960’, a film by Dude Vicky, alongside Yogi Babu and others.

Tamannaah Bhatia, not far behind, commands a fee of Rs 2-3.5 crore for each movie role. For ‘Jailer’, starring opposite Rajinikanth, she charged Rs 3 crore, showcasing the lucrative earnings of leading ladies in South Indian cinema, according to Times of India.
