Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed their baby girl, Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8 this year. Since then, Deepika has been sharing precious moments from her journey into motherhood, along with relatable challenges that come with it.
Recently, the actress re-shared a light-hearted Instagram reel that captured her experiences with Dua’s unpredictable sleep schedule. The video features a baby trying to keep one eye open while attempting to fall asleep, with a caption that reads: “Trying to keep myself awake here, because if I sleep… my mom will take a shower, eat, clean the house, and no more snuggles.” Deepika added her own caption: “True Story,” perfectly expressing the relatable struggles of a new mom adjusting to an ever-changing routine.
Deepika had earlier shared a heartwarming glimpse of little Dua on Diwali. The post featured only Dua’s tiny feet as she sat on her mother’s lap, dressed in an adorable red kurta-pants set. Captioning the post, Deepika wrote, “Dua Padukone Singh | दुआ पादुकोण सिंह 🧿 ‘Dua’: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers.”
As for their professional lives, Deepika and Ranveer recently appeared together in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again,’ starring alongside Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff.
