Stance on Polygamy
Kritika Malik, along with her husband Armaan Malik and his first wife Payal Malik, has been a subject of much discussion due to their unconventional relationship. Kritika made it clear that none of them support polygamy. She said, “We don’t support polygamy. We have had two marriages, but I urge people not to do it. I understand people’s reactions are natural, but we never encourage people to have multiple marriages.”
Dealing with Negative Labels
The backlash from the public has been harsh, with Kritika often being labeled as a ‘daayan’ or a ‘home-breaker.’ She shared, “Being called the other woman, a home-breaker, does hurt me. I am also a human being. That day when the media came, I broke down later. You don’t get to express yourself in that house, so crying is the only option.”
Personal Struggles and Public Perception
Throughout the season, Kritika, Payal, and Armaan’s story of meeting and falling in love seemed unbelievable to many, with some accusing them of scripting their narrative for publicity. Addressing these claims, Kritika revealed her scars from a suicide attempt, stating, “Only the person who goes through something knows how it feels. We never scripted our stories. All three of us were in it together. Even if I lie, this scar on my body won’t, right? Now we are trying to explain to the world that this has happened.”
Future Plans and Relationship Dynamics
Regarding the future of their polygamous relationship, Kritika is optimistic. “We three will live together, so we will also save our relationship together,” she affirmed. When asked about Payal Malik’s recent claims of seeking a divorce from Armaan Malik, Kritika mentioned she had not yet seen the videos and would discuss the matter with Payal. “When I saw Payal on the finale stage, I asked her if she was okay, and she said yes. Now we will sit and discuss. I know nothing will happen, but in case it does, we will update you guys.”
