In a startling revelation, the Isha Foundation disclosed that their revered leader, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, was recently in a critical health condition which necessitated an emergency brain surgery. The 66-year-old spiritual guide is currently on the path to recovery, the foundation shared in a heartfelt announcement.
Details of the health scare came to light when Sadhguru, known for his wisdom and spiritual teachings, experienced an alarming headache that persisted for several weeks. Despite the discomfort, he continued with his commitments until the situation escalated dramatically upon his arrival in Delhi on March 14, 2024. The severity of his condition was unveiled through an urgent MRI, revealing a significant bleed in the brain. “Sadhguru was battling a severe headache for the last four weeks…On the afternoon of March 14, 2024, the situation took a turn for the worse. An MRI conducted at 4.30 pm revealed extensive bleeding, pointing to both chronic and recent hemorrhages,” the foundation’s statement detailed.
Ignoring his deteriorating health, Sadhguru pressed on with his schedule until March 17, 2024, when his condition worsened, displaying symptoms like left leg weakness, exacerbated headaches, and vomiting. It was at this critical juncture that he was rushed for an emergency surgery at Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals to address the bleeding inside his skull.
